Privacy policy

This policy explains how Nestwork Education Group LLC ("Nestwork", "we", "us") handles information when you visit onrecordmd.com or sign up for Nestwork.

What we collect

We only collect what you choose to give us when you sign up:

• Students: your first name, email address, school, track, year and the things you would like help with.
• Professors and mentors: your name, email address, role, department, institution, what you would like to do on Nestwork and any note you add.
• Universities and investors: the contact details and message you send through our enquiry forms.
• Your account: if you set a password, your email address, a securely hashed password (we never see the password itself) and the profile details you choose to keep there.
• How you found us: if you allow it, the link, campaign or website that brought you to Nestwork (for example a social post, a flyer code or a search engine), the first page you visited and the date. This is saved with your sign-up so we know which outreach works.

Like most websites, our hosting provider may also keep standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) to keep the site secure and running.

How we use it

• To save your spot and tell you when Nestwork opens for your track or campus.
• To contact professors and mentors personally to get them set up.
• To understand which schools and tracks to launch next.
• To see which of our posts, flyers, partners and events bring people to Nestwork, so we can focus our outreach.

What we never do

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run the site, such as our web host and email provider. They process data only on our behalf. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the fonts load. We may disclose information if required by law.

Cookies and similar storage

When you first visit, we ask whether you are happy for us to remember how you found Nestwork. We use first-party browser storage only, set by onrecordmd.com itself:

• Your cookie choice: remembers whether you accepted or declined, so we do not ask again.
• How you found us: the source, campaign and first page described above. Until you choose, it is kept only for your current visit. If you accept, it is remembered on your device so it can be included if you sign up later. If you decline, it is deleted and nothing about how you found us is sent with your sign-up.
• Site preferences: small settings such as hiding an announcement you have closed.
• Signing in: when you log in, cookies that keep you signed in, plus a small cookie that lets the menu show "My account". These are necessary for your account to work and are removed when you log out.

We do not use advertising cookies, third-party trackers or analytics services, and we never sell this information. It stays in your browser unless you submit a sign-up form. You can change your choice at any time on your My account page, using Cookie settings (also in the footer of every page), or by clearing your browser's site data. Our host may also use technical cookies or caching needed to deliver the site.

How long we keep it

We keep sign-up information while Nestwork is preparing to launch and while you are a member. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop receiving emails from us, by contacting us at the address below. We will respond within a reasonable time.

Children

Nestwork is built for college students and professionals. It is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
